Womens Football Announcement - Withdrawal from BWPL

Following discussions with several of our established players during pre-season it became apparent that a number of players were either seeking new challenges either outside of the game or at lower levels of the game, or looking to play for clubs closer to their home.

Despite serious efforts to recruit new players we did not have sufficient players join to fulfil the Premier League requirements of a First and Reserve team for the 2019 season.

Whilst this is a disappointment for the club, we are even more focused on expanding our Women and Girls programs. We will be playing in the Capital League of the Womens competitions in Football Brisbane with a young team. Rico Wilson, our Womens DOC, is committed to developing these players and the female players in the club, to produce the Pine Hills Premier League players of the future. Rico, Technical Director, Will Allan and Football Chair, Kristian Noyes and involving Senior Women players at the club are concluding a plan which we will share with club members in the very near future.

Pine Hills Football Club are committed to developing young female players for the long term and having these players remain lifelong lovers of the game and players at Pine Hills FC.
